Our Services

The Race Thing, Inc is a BIPOC Women-owned, Queer-owned Media Company focused on the education and impact of systemic racism on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our goal is to amplify and share the stories of individuals of color who have been ignored and dehumanized for far too long.

All services include a free 30-minute consultation.

Facilitating Conversations

Group conversations with adults and youth about race

$350 includes
- 1.5 hours of facilitated conversation
- An hour of planning
- 2 facilitators

Interviewing

Live/Virtual Interview of People of Interest

$250 includes
- 30 minutes to an hour interview
- Audience facilitated questions and answers
- 2 interviewers

Keynote Speaker

$150 for 10 to 15-minute speech
2 speakers

Moderating Discussions

Panel discussions about systemic racism/racial issues

$500 includes
- An hour of moderation
- 4 hours of planning
- Up to five panelists
- 2 moderators

Event Hosting

$75 an hour for day of hosting
$50 an hour for planning
